THE W.E.A.K.

the weak

Hey crabzinabarrel.com world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It’s your girl ReneeWoods and after seeing last night’s BET Awards I am more motivated than ever to get talented people outta the damn barrel. So back to business and spotlighting artists on crabzinabarrel.com and this week we would like to start off with rap duo THE W.E.A.K.  The two members of this rap duo from DC are Super Hero Supreme and T Squared.  They have a song called “17 again” that I really enjoy because honestly sometimes I wish I was 17 again. Those were the days when I aint have any responsibilities and most importantly NO credit card debt or school loans so the money I made was actually mine.  So anyways here is the link to “17 again” by THE W.E.A.K. : http://tinyurl.com/WEAK17again.

Never Can Say Goodbye- Memories of “The King”

RIP Mike

by Urbansocialight

When my mother was a little girl she was in love with Michael Jackson, she said she loved him so much that it hurt.  She’s always talked about how Michael Jackson was her “boyfriend”,  Jermaine was my Auntie Phyllis boyfriend and their play sister Toni got stuck with Marlon.  My mother is recounting to me her memories now “I’ve always had dreams, even as an adult, about being with Michael and going to his house.  Ummmm…. What other artist has had prime time TV stop it’s programming to premiere their videos?  Not MTV, not BET, not VH1, I’m talking NBC, ABC, and CBS stopping their shows, to play a music video.  Never before and never again will there be another Continue reading

I haven’t posted anything since last Friday, but Bj the Chicago Kid gave me motivation to post something. He’s a singer that reps Chi Town to the fulliest. He has a different voice that can be compared to when Raheem Devaughn first came out and everybody was like who the hell is he. Check him out on myspace  at http://www.myspace.com/streetzsoul when you get a chance, especially when you want to engage in something romantic. His mixtape is posted below if you want more.
