No not together, although it would be great if they did a collabo, just some youtube clips. Kenzie May at band rehearsal (sounds like she is great live but we knew that) and a cool Wiz Khalifa video to his new song “Know Your Name” (not sure if its official but its dope).
M.i – The Jack Johnson Session
Whats up its your boy The Realness once again dropping some new music for y’all. Now I listen to a lot of music and a lot of mixtapes so its hard to really impress me. Its rare that I hear something and instantly I say damn this is some hot sh*t! Well after listening to the first song “All at Once” off of M.i’s “The Jack Johnson Session” I was instantly sold. You know we love themed mixtapes that should be albums over here at crabzinabarrel.com and that is exactly what this is. The themes of “The Jack Johnson Session” are well, songs by folk singer Jack Johnson.
M.i (not be confused with the Nigerian rapper M.I. for those of you who know Nigerian hip hop) uses Jack Johnson samples on 14 tracks that he wrote, produced, recorded, and mixed. I must say he did a masterful job. This is a must download. The album has a very laid back vibe to it with its smooth melodies, hooks, and guitar samples. Keep up with M.i on his myspace and twitter pages. We will definitely be keeping an eye out for any more new projects from him here at crabzinabarrel.com.

Wassup! It’s your girl ReneeWoods! The crabzinabarrel.com family went to the anticipated Mac Miller and Henny concert which featured Uptown XO on October 10, 2010 at Jaxx Nightclub in Springfield, Virginia. Let me just say, a lot of artists aren’t good live, but Uptown XO, Henny, and Mac Miller were all excellent. Crabzinabarrel.com arrived at Jaxx a little after 9 and Uptown XO was performing and he had the crowd waving their hands from side to side. Peep video of his performance below!
Then Henny who reps Springfield, Virginia came out and performed. He had a lot of energy and gave his all to the crowd. Peep video of his performance below!!
Then the one and motherfucking only Mac Miller came out and let me just say that El Solo Dolo was all over the place singing every word to every song. I just want to say if Mac Miller isn’t the next big thing then I don’t know who the fu*k is because he is incredible live. Peep video of his performance below!!!!!It was a packed house and the event went as scheduled so I would like to shoutout the promoters of the event because the flyer didn’t lie and the show was over at 11:00 pm.
