And BOO to the fact that just because facebook allows you to write paragraph long status updates and you actually do it! Because you aren’t talking about ish! And stop it with the Drake quotes already! So Far Gone came out in February of 2009! You’re LATE! I honestly think you’re a loser. What they need to add is a loser button so I can tell you about yourself. Stop it with mobile upload #935 you at the gas station, you on the phone, you being you… B!tch I know what you look like! Furthermore, if you update your Facebook status more than 3 times a day you need a Twitter! Gosh! Get off my newsfeed! That is all.
About ten days ago we were at Jaxx in Springfield, Virginia to check out the Mac Miller show. Unfortunately we got there a little late and missed out on Equaleyes an artist from right here in the DMV. Well that was our mistake because the kid is dope. Whats up its your boy The Realness once again dropping some new music for y’all. Now I listen to a lot of music and a lot of mixtapes so its hard to really impress me. Its rare that I hear something and instantly I say damn this is some hot sh*t! Well after listening to the first song “All at Once” off of M.i’s “The Jack Johnson Session” I was instantly sold. You know we love themed mixtapes that should be albums over here at crabzinabarrel.com and that is exactly what this is. The themes of “The Jack Johnson Session” are well, songs by folk singer Jack Johnson.
M.i (not be confused with the Nigerian rapper M.I. for those of you who know Nigerian hip hop) uses Jack Johnson samples on 14 tracks that he wrote, produced, recorded, and mixed. I must say he did a masterful job. This is a must download. The album has a very laid back vibe to it with its smooth melodies, hooks, and guitar samples.
