Here’s another album that you all need to check out that dropped last Tuesday from a DMV artists by the name of Kingpin Slim. The album is called The Beam Up and it includes 16 tracks. There has been plenty of good mixtapes from the DMV and this mixtape goes in the collection with the others.

You have to respect Greenspan’s hustle; he’s doing big things right now. Already this year, Greenspan has joined the home team hero Wale on the Baltimore leg of his popular Attention Deficit Tour. He’s got the DMV’s own Judah on the beat, and cosigns from illroots, DJ Benzi, and illvibes-dmv.com. I’ve been waiting for this CD to drop for awhile now. The CD is only 9 songs deep, but they’re all good songs. I love to see artists make good music. You won’t be disappointed with this CD at all. Teedra Moses will be at The Arc in DC on July 25, 2009 and I am so excited!!!!!!!!!! I loved her first album Complex Simplicity and still listen to it all the time. Sneaker Pimps was this past Saturday and I enjoyed every last minute of it even though I was late. I was kind of disappointed that I didn’t get to see J. Cole nor Phil-Ade, but there’s always next time right. I got to see The Clipse and Wale and UCB perform.
