CALLING ALL DANCE CREWS!!

Michael Jackson’s memorial service is tomorrow and in the week since his death, we have not seen a proper dance tribute to the late great legend. Michael was original and innovative and took his performances to another level, not just vocally but visually. Would Thriller have had such a lasting legacy without the dance scene or MJ’s transformation into werewolf? Would Smooth Criminal have been as spectacular without the kick ass dancing and of course “the lean”? I think not, so it is only fitting that dance crews get the chance to pay homage to the King, Michael Jackson.

There’s not much to say about this project from Xo. He gets better every time he releases a CD. Download the CD when you get a chance.

Being in the right place can put you places you couldn’t even imagine. I had a privilege to come across a rapper that goes by the name Complete. I haven’t seen this dude in a minute. I was wondering what he might be up to because he had the talent to be a sucessful artist. I’m glad to see him still working on music. This is one rapper from the DMV that I wouldn’t mind working with in the future. Check out his myspace page when you get a chance at http://www.myspace.com/completeunsigned.

I had a chance to meet Kingpin Slim for the first time at Xo’s album release party on Tuesday. I’ve been following this dude since he dropped the Five Dollar High mixtape last year. He gave crabzinabarrel a promo CD that I wanted to share with you all. I hope you all feel that Powder 4 the Babies joint cause I’m definitely feeling it. He recently did a video for Powder 4 the Babies so you need to look out for the video that is dropping real soon I hope. If you like what you hear you need to download his Five Dollar High mixtape and check out his myspace page at http://www.myspace.com/kingpinslimdc.
