I’m in my room listening to music and came upon a mixtape that was laying around my room for awhile. I want you all to check out knowJuander’s mixtape A Kid Love Beta. There’s to much music out hear to be listening to the same old artists. The internet is a wonderful tool. I wish everyone was like me, but there’s not a lot of people out here that want to give these new artists a chance. It’s not always about the radio and the television people. This mixtape gets my stamp of approval.

RatheMC’s mixtape dropped yesterday on September 6, 2009 and it was a solid effort from a talented MC from the DMV. I liked what I heard, but I didn’t like the singing on the mixtape. I felt the singing didn’t fit well with some of the songs. I think she should have kept some songs simple. Overall, if you can get past the singing it’s a pretty good mixtape that should go into your DMV music collection.

Happy Miserable Monday everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It’s your girl ReneeWoods once again and I have been sitting on some video footage of the band Rome In A Day for a couple of weeks. Now let me just say I saw them when I went to the Adams Morgan Festival a couple of weeks back and really enjoyed their set.
